Personality/Psychological Diagnostic Evaluations
Personality evaluations (also known as diagnostic evaluations or psychological testing) are a form of evaluation that provides a “snapshot” of a client’s current functioning, including diagnosis. This type of evaluation can provide a client with in-depth information about the underlying personality functioning of a person. The evaluation consists of a clinical background interview, review of medical and psychological records, and various psychological tests. The tests aim to provide clients with information about internal processes, level of symptomology, and diagnostic clarity, which helps treatment providers in determining recommendations for the most effective treatment approach.
